ESG & Stewardship

Stewardship

ESG is structural, not decorative

Alnitak Resources operates in jurisdictions where ESG performance is not a marketing position — it is the precondition for the sovereign trust, institutional capital, and community partnership that make our work possible. Our ESG framework is structural: built into every operating agreement, reflected in every processing decision, and measured through NEXUS, our proprietary platform data infrastructure that produces audit-grade ESG and chain-of-custody reporting across our entire portfolio. We align with IFC Performance Standards, the Equator Principles, the ICMM Principles, the World Gold Council's Responsible Gold Mining Principles, and the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent framework — not as marketing claims, but as operating standards.

Environmental Stewardship

Mercury-free metallurgy, closed-loop water systems, progressive land rehabilitation, and ICMM-aligned environmental management — built into every operating agreement, not retrofitted.

Standards

Frameworks and standards we align with

Our ESG and operating frameworks are calibrated to the institutional standards that govern our capital and offtake relationships. We align with the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability — the underwriting standard for development finance institutions and the reference framework for the Equator Principles project finance regime. We adhere to the ICMM Principles for sustainable mining and metals, the World Gold Council's Responsible Gold Mining Principles, the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent framework, and JORC for mineral resource and reserve reporting. These are operating standards, not communication choices.

Community Impact

Structural community partnership

Community impact at Alnitak Resources is structural rather than philanthropic. The projects below are direct outflows of our environmental and social commitments, designed in partnership with credentialed community organizations and integrated with our operating footprint.
